We feel we should warn you about a scam that is currently in operation.
It appears that companies calling themselves either Advanced Publications, Ikonic Publications or Streetwatch magazine are trying to sell advertising in a police/charity/school magazine
I have “googled” these companies and they are named as scams on many different Business Forums. I have reason to believe that they have been contacting advertisers listed on my website, if you are contacted please beware and note that they may not be genuine and that I don’t endorse or have any connection with them!

Hello and welcome to our February edition of ‘North Devon Insight’.

Whilst compiling the final stages of this magazine, I have been jealously watching my boys enjoying the snow in the garden. They love it, not only because they get to have snowball fights but also because they have an extended holiday after the Christmas break! Hopefully though, by the time you receive this magazine, things will be back to normal and safer out there on the roads! We have got lots to look forward to this month including Valentine’s Day and the start of the Chinese New Year, both on 14th February, then we can get the lemons and sugar out for Shrove Tuesday on 16th! We also have the school half terms! I can’t believe that the children are on holiday again, they have only just gone back to school!

We had a great response to our competition once again last month, so thank you to all who entered. The lucky winner of our ‘Dave Baskerville’ competition was Mr Hogg of Bickington. Well done to him and many thanks to Dave Baskerville.
