Over the next few months lots of changes will be occurring in the Wrey Arms, Mark has already introduced wireless internet facilities where his customers can relax with a coffee or a newly introduced range of juices and smoothies whilst carrying on with their work on their laptops. From 1st June, the Lounge Bar will be non smoking to gently ease customers into the new legislation happening on the 1st July. For this month only, the Sports Bar will be the designated smoking area. 1st July will see a brand new designated smoking area introduced on the outside patio area, complete with hardwood furniture, patio heaters, lighting and huge parasols. To brighten up the area, trellis with colourful plants will also be added to the main walls of the ‘Wrey Arms’. As the pub will be completely smoke free from 1st July, Mark is also introducing an extended menu to include healthy eating options such as pasta and pizza’s made completely in-house!
Mark obviously has no say in the new smoke free legislation but is determined to accommodate his smoking customers by providing a stunning, relaxing area for them. If somebody wants to smoke, they will but by providing this area, Mark feels that he will not only keep his customers happy but also the local residents who will not then have people on the pavements outside smoking and leaving their cigarette butts there instead.
With all the new changes taking place, ‘The Wrey Arms’ is certainly the place to visit, can’t wait to try out a smoothie and pizza!!
