Creepy goings on at the Wrey Arms

On Saturday 27th October, you are invited along to join in the fun at ‘The Wrey Arms’.  Starting from 7.30pm you can dance the night away at the Halloween Party.  Arrive in fancy dress and then you  won’t feel the odd one out and can enjoy the evening with the other witches and demons behind the bar!
As always there will be fancy dress competitions for both the adults and children and the children will also receive a ‘trick or treat bag’ in preparation for the night itself.
Come along and enjoy the scary atmosphere, if it’s half as good as 2006, it will be a night to remember!!

Sunday 14th October - Car boot sale at ‘Pilton house’
Friday 2nd November - ‘Games Night’ at ‘The Wrey’

‘The Wrey Arms’, together with ‘Pilton House’  are organising some special fund-raising events to support Pilton Church.

Pilton’s 13th century church is under threat of closure unless £40,000 is raised for vital repairs on the structure of the building. This includes major works to the South Porch - the main entrance, which dates back to the 15th century. If not enough money is raised, St Mary’s will close! Pilton Church is a landmark of Pilton where many different services are held.  Pilton would not be Pilton without the church!

Mark from ‘The Wrey Arms’ and his wife Gina, Manager of ‘Pilton House’ Nursing Home have got some very strong ties with Pilton.  As well as being where their family home is, Mark and Gina were themselves married in Pilton Church along with several of their close friends.  They are determined therefore, to try and raise as much money as they possibly can to help the church.

Games Night at ‘The Wrey’ will be from 7pm. The entry fee is £5.00 per head which will include participating in the various games which are to be played on the night including pool, skittles and darts and a buffet. There will also be a raffle.

The Car boot sale will be held in the gorgeous grounds of ‘Pilton House’ Nursing Home.  For £5.00 per vehicle, you can get rid of all your unwanted items!  Sellers can arrive from 11am and buyers from 12.00.  Admission for buyers is 50p.
