Following the successful opening of the refurbished petrol station, Sainsburys are now in the final stages of also completing the store improvements.
The refurbished store is to be officially opened on Thursday November 1st after a week’s total closure, starting from 6pm on Wednesday October 24th.
The actual shop floor has been extended by a massive 19,000 square feet.
There is to be a completely refurbished café and new toilets.
An increased range of products including electrical items and home furnishings will all be displayed on new equipment and counters.
There will also be an increased clothing and homeware range.
And it doesn’t stop there! The car park will be re-lined and freshened up with disabled parking spaces being moved closer to the entrance. Sainsburys have very carefully thought these improvements through, having made their decisions from customers wishes.
Since starting the improvements, excellent feedback has been received via the customer notice board.
