The ‘purrfect’ panto for all the family.

Following last year’s record breaking production of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, Barnstaple audiences will once again be treated to more madness, mayhem and magic with special effects and slapstick aplenty. With a full supporting cast, the scene is set for a purrfect Christmas treat for all the family.

Dick Whittington arrives in London seeking his fortune and accompanied by his faithful cat. He is employed by Alderman Fitzwarren and falls in love with his daughter Alice, but falls foul of the King Rat. He is wrongfully accused of theft and leaves Fitzwarren’s house in disgrace. Not daunted he joins an expedition to the Barbary Coast, where, with the Cat’s help, he finds fame, fortune and of course Alice Fitzwarren’s hand.

Turn again Dick Whittington, Lord Mayor of London!

Follow poor boy Dick in his quest to find out if the streets of London really are paved with gold and set sail aboard the ‘Saucy Sal’ bound for the shores of Morocco……
What calamities will our hero endure along the way?
Will he triumph over the evil King Rat?
And will Dick win the heart of his master’s daughter?
There’s only one way to find out…….
