News : Roundswell & Sticklepath

Following on from the recent Mural Wall competition which took place, the 25th October finally made the pictures become reality!  The Co-op and local police, especially PCSO Earl Napier joined forces with professional artist ‘Mau Mau’ from Bideford who came back to Barnstaple from Thailand especially to work his wonders.  Mau Mau was helped by local artists Jordan Brown, Jayson and  Haydon Dixon to complete the masterpiece.  Many fantastic designs were entered, most of which came from Sticklepath Primary School who as always gave fantastic support to the project. 
The artists chose different aspects of the entries to paint so if you study the wall, you may see a part of your design included!
Also present was Grant Edwards from North Devon Youth Services who ran education workshops for the children. He gave them the chance to have a go at street art on boards which he provided, whilst also educating them on where street art could be done and where it is NOT to be done!
Tina Ley from YISP also attended to do face painting.
