Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies is a family run business which first opened its doors to the public in June 2007. Now, nearly three years on, Julie and Roger are pleased to announce that they will be moving to premises twice the size of their current Bear Street shop by Easter of this year. Their new base will be at Trelawney Garden Centre at Ashford (on the Barnstaple to Braunton Road) where with much larger premises they will be able to showcase many more products, not forgetting of course, the largest outdoor tent display in North Devon – everything from luxurious family living spaces to much more compact weekender tents, and not forgetting of course lightweight tents for the backpacker whose needs are on a much smaller scale. So if you are going on an adventure, this is the place to visit. All the tents are well known brands including Outwell, Coleman, Vango and Gelert and with package deals on offer to include the footprint and carpet together with the tent, you can be assured of a very personal service.

Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies cater predominantly for the camping requirements of their customers but also cater for families with caravans and motorhomes. Anything that you can think of that you may need for the great outdoors, you will be able to find! Be it kitchen stands, tables and chairs to wardrobes and cupboards, gas bottles and tent pegs to sleeping bags and lanterns, rucksacks and compasses to washing lines, Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies have it all!

You will also find a large selection of outdoor clothing including Paramo, Keela, Whiterock and soon to be joined by RAB. Team a great jacket with 1000 Mile or Thorlo socks, and you will keep yourself very toasty indeed!

If you’re after some adventure whilst camping, why not invest in a kayak? Great fun for all the family and with inflatables available from only £100, and sit-on-tops in stock too, it’s great fun for all.

If you are thinking of visiting Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies’ new& premises, why not go and see them at Easter. Combine your visit with Trelawney’s Easter Egg Hunt and the children will then be able to have fun finding clues around the tents too!

You will also find Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies at the Family Picnic in Rock Park on May 31st, where they will be supporting the National Family Week and showcasing some of their tents and products.

Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies opening hours will correspond with Trelawney Garden Centre’s with summer opening hours between 9am - 5.30pm and winter opening being 9am - 5pm.
