Outdoor Award Winning Portrait Photographer
Nina Therese Wickmann is a Norwegian photographer based in Barnstaple, Devon. Having worked in a studio as a professional portrait photographer in Oslo for the past six years, focusing mainly on children, families and weddings, Nina has now moved to Barnstaple to do portrait photography of children and families outdoors and is very excited to be working in the lovely scenery of the South West countryside.
Nina holds a Bachelors degree in Editorial and Advertising Photography from Rochester School of Photography, Kent. After graduating in 2003, she was nominated for The Observer’s ‘The Hodge Award’ with a project called Olympic Women. Moving back to Norway in 2004, Nina worked as a full time portrait photographer and had a solo exhibition. She also won several awards in the Norwegian national portrait competition and came third in the competition ‘Wedding photographer of the year’ in Norway in 2009. Nina is currently working as a second wedding photographer in Devon and Cornwall.
Nina has worked in photography from the age of 15 in a portrait studio and assisting at weddings. Although Nina is trained in studio photography, she loves outdoor photography in our beautiful location and this is where some of her best work is produced.
Nina offers photo shoots in your home, at the beach or in the countryside. When the children are playing, they are more relaxed, resulting in natural and personal photographs.
Each photography session lasts between one and two hours and you will then receive a CD with a selection of approximately 30 photographs.
From this CD you can then choose which you would like to print. Nina specialises in photo montages, canvases and also a beautiful photo book.
