Arthritis
Did you know that it affects 90% of the worlds population and that there are over 200 types of it?
In the UK alone records show some 20 million people have it, 8 million of those consulting their doctors for treatment.
Enormous numbers, especially when you consider there is no cure.
The big one of course is Osteo, affecting around 40% of UK arthritis sufferers.
It’s these people I might be able to help.
Use it or lose it is the common saying but not too much. If you do, it wears the joint out faster. If you don’t, it stiffens up, becomes even more painful.
Have you tried massaging the affected joint?
No don’t laugh, I mean it.
Check with your doctor first that it’s ok for you but I have found it to be of great help to a number of my clients.
It’s not a cure and I wouldn’t want anybody to think it is.
But it does seem to ease some of the stiffness and take away some of the pain.
Massage action around the joint, improves your circulation.
1) Providing fresh oxygen and nutrients to surrounding tissues.
2) Loosening up and flushing away waste matter, which clogs up the tissue.
You can do this yourself. Using something as a lubricant, maybe hand cream, just gently rub around the joint, working into all the little crevices and round the edges of the bones for about ten minutes or so a day. Keep it up for a week and see if it makes any difference.
If it doesn’t, well you’ve tried and lost nothing except a bit of hand cream.
If it helped, great, keep going it might improve even more.
Hope this helps
