Mike Woolacott, of Sticklepath is taking part in the Open Studio event, in conjunction with the North Devon Festival - www.northdevonfestival.org.

(Look out for Art Trek Open Studio booklets which should be available at information centres, galleries etc. before very long. These give a comprehensive list of artists participating in the Event).

Artists all over North Devon are opening their studios for four days from 19th to 22nd June. This gives people a chance to come and meet the artist and, in Mike's case, have a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of home-made cake (made by his wife).

Last year Mike converted their garage into a gallery (and will do so again this year) and left his studio open for people to have a look at work in progress as well as his sketchbooks.

They had about 90 people altogether and would love to have even more this year. especially their neighbours in Sticklepath and Roundswell.
