Police Targeted in Racial Graffiti .

Hi to everybody Firstly, a big congratulations to the organisers of the Tews Lane Fun Day. Secondly, I am pleased to announce a new Police Surgery that will be held in Woodville. This will take place in the new Sure Start Centre, which is located within the grounds of Sticklepath Community School, on the second Tuesday of each month from 2 – 3.30pm starting from the 8th July 2008. Either PC Napier or I will be there during this time to discuss any Policing issues that you may have concerns about. I can assure you that the meeting will be held in the strictest confidence. This new Police Surgery will run alongside the surgery that we hold at the Roundswell Community Centre, on the third Wednesday of each month, between the times of 10.30 – 11.30am. On a more serious note. There has been a further incident of graffiti on the two underpasses that lead between Brynsworthy – Roundswell, also the one close to Sainsburys. It appears that PC Napier and myself are doing some excellent work in the area, as unfortunately the graffiti has been directed directly at us. Apart from the contents being of a sexually explicit nature, the more alarming and serious issue is that it has been written in a racist manner with serious racist implications. I would like to ask all residents to keep their eyes open and report any further incidents of this nature to the Police. If anybody does have any information regarding this matter, would you please contact either Earl or myself on the contact details below. Or they can contact CRIMESTOPPERS and leave a message on 0800 555 111. If the offenders of this crime are able to read this, I would like to inform them, that WHEN they are caught, they will face the more serious charge of RACIALLY & AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL DAMAGE. This carries with it a much more serious punishment. This is how seriously Devon and Cornwall Constabulary take such matters of racism. Another subject that I would like to briefly mention, is the one of Neighbour Disputes. The second option could be as simple as asking a mutual friend to act as a mediator. Regards
