Have you visited the new natural play area at Wistlandpound? With a pine cone pit, log balance beams and den building area it is the perfect place for little ones to let of steam while parents relax and or join in the fun!
The accessible challenge trail around the lake (1½ miles long) provides a series of 5 fun activities whatever your age or ability. The Discovery Trail allows you the chance to take in the picturesque views of the lake which is surrounded by a ribbon of forest. |
There are a series of fun 2 hour family events being held this summer which include den building, fire lighting, orienteering, a teddy bears picnic and more! Discover Wistlandpound is situated just off of the A399 between South Molton and Combe Martin, it is a partnership project between the Calvert Trust Exmoor, Forestry Commission and South West Lakes Trust. Other than a small parking charge (£2 for the whole day) the site is free to visit so offers excellent value for money.
